Testimonials from Vaughn Road Veterinary Clinic in East Montgomery, AL

I remember a time when my mother was dying with cancer and she was staying at my home in Montgomery. At the same time of her death my kitty cat, Lillie Joyce became gravely ill with her kidneys. I called Vaughn Road Veterinary Hospital and they came and got her. I told them to put her to sleep since it was never going to get any better. They came and got her that day. I buried my mother the next day. After a couple of days I went to the vet to thank them for helping me out at a trying time. To my surprise, when I walked in my doctor at the time Dr. Millis had Lillie Joyce up and playing around his office. He told me it just wasn't quite time to put her to sleep! She was still not well but would take her out to his farm and let her live her days in his barn since she wasn't able to control her kidneys. I cried of course at the shock of seeing my baby alive playing around their office. What a wonderful staff and doctors we have at Vaughn Road Veterinary Clinic. Going the extra mile is what they are all about. My Friends!

Hold your hand up if you're OCD about your dog. Come on now. You can admit it. There's no shame or 12 step program involved. Of course, I am not OCD about my dogs.

I would never dress my Jack Russells up in sunglasses and skull caps. I would never drive to Illinois, South Florida, or San Antonio so my dogs could play the game they loved. I certainly wouldn't tell family members they need not visit if they don't want to be around my dogs. I would never pay extra for premium dog food, sleep with my dogs, or drive an hour and a half away each week for special training. Who, me?

Nor would I visit every veterinary clinic in the area, ask for a tour, ask specific questions about their care, and interview the veterinarians. I certainly wouldn't walk into my veterinarian's office and say, "Oh he's eating fine, playing and isn't running a temperature. But he seems off to me."

Okay, I admit it. I have done all of the above. My dogs and I have a "like and kind relationship." Each gives me their whole heart. The least I can do is give mine in return. A relationship like that dictates I provide the best possible healthcare I can find for them. I found that kind of care at Vaughn Road Veterinary Clinic.

Thanks guys!

VRVC offers the large clinic advantages of outstanding veterinary expertise, technology, and facilities but with the small clinic atmosphere. Having been a client for the past 20 years I have enjoyed becoming a part of this unique veterinary clinic family. The veterinarians are extremely knowledgeable but above all are caring, kind, and compassionate. They always have plenty of time to explain the medical issues and are always doing everything to make my precious babies (which some would call dogs) feel comfortable and at home. They have also developed solid working relationships with several vet schools should any medical conditions need further treatment.

The support staff is unsurpassed in efficiency, understanding, knowledge, and the ability to handle any situation that might arise. They know each client by name and treat people and pets with the love and respect that each one deserves.

I can personally say that my precious babies and I have ALWAYS received the finest in veterinary care. We have always been treated with love, respect, and the professionalism that a family member would expect. It is for these and many other reasons that we will never stray from VRVC.
